Hello Everyone!  Well...It has been a very exciting year!
When I decided to open Datura Art Studios it really was with the intention to create a wonderful pleasant working studio environment for all who wish to to share in the "Happy" energy, let go of all of life's issues, relax and create.  The concept was also to create a safe and friendly environment for children to explore their creativity on many levels and be exposed to the multitude of art media and methods that are within our reach.

The studio has turned out to be more than I could have wished for at its conception.  Our student enrollment has steadily increased with both children and adults.  We have built a family of students who attend classes at the studio regularly on both weekly, bi-weekly as well as on a monthly basis.  We always welcome new students wether they are residing locally or simply visiting the area.  

Over the past year, we have added more equipment to the studio with the addition of our kiln, one additional pottery wheel, a slab roller, new candle making equipment, paper making equipment, cake decorating equipment, chocolate and candy making equipment and loads of new art supplies!  

We have also renovated the studio with beautiful new flooring,  new lighting and the addition of a wonderful spacious new classroom!
 
Datura Art studios is now offering party packages for children's birthday parties, youth group meetings and scout badge packages.  We offer packages that include food, beverages, decorations and all art supplies or you may bring in your own food.

In the evenings, Datura Art Studio has turned out to be a wonderful place for groups of adults to gather for an evening of socializing and working on art while enjoying a bottle of wine or other beverages, snacks or specialty hors d'oeuvres etc.  The studio simply glows in the evenings and transforms into a wonderful Zen-like atmosphere.

I would like to thank all the wonderful people who have worked so diligently to make Datura Art Studios not only a reality, but an amazing and magical place for all.  With out whom Datura Art Studios would not exist.
